What kind of campervan is Biscy?Biscy is a low mileage VW Transporter with a brand-new camper conversion. It features a fold-out rock and roll bed, a pop-top roof with an extra bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, and ample storage, making it perfect for road trips and short stays.

Where is Biscy located?Biscy is available for pick-up in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. We’re within 10 minutes of major supermarkets and provide gated secure parking for your vehicle while you're away.

How much does it cost to rent Biscy?Typical hire costs range from £80 to £100 per night, depending on the season. Including Insurance!

Is Biscy easy to drive?Yes! Biscy is a manual transmission van with excellent visibility and familiar VW controls. Anyone confident driving a standard vehicle will quickly feel at home.

How many people can sleep in Biscy?Biscy can sleep up to 4 people comfortably – 2 on the fold-out bed and 2 small children or 1 adult in the pop-top bed.

Are pets allowed?Pets are not allowed, unless discussed and agreed upon in advance. This helps us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for all guests.

Can I take Biscy to festivals?No, Biscy is not permitted at festivals or large events. We keep her clean, family-friendly, and well-maintained for all guests.

What about insurance and roadside assistance?In most cases, we arrange insurance and breakdown cover.

Is Biscy suitable for winter trips?Yes – but keep in mind that a campervan is similar to a tent in colder months. It’s essential to bring extra bedding and layers. We offer warm bedding and extra mattresses upon request.

What should I bring with me?We recommend bringing: Warm bedding (unless renting from us) Food and drink (or plan to shop nearby) Toiletries and towels Torch and chargers Comfortable clothes for the weather Toilet paper (and a plan for toilet stops!)

How do I use the beds and pop-top?We’ll give you a full walkthrough on pickup. The rock and roll bed folds down in seconds using the side handle. The pop-top lifts easily with pneumatics, providing extra space or sleeping room. We also provide written instructions and pictures in the van.

Is there heating or air conditioning?Biscy has standard vehicle heating while driving, but no built-in camper heating while stationary. In cold weather, bring warm clothes or ask us about additional bedding options.

Where can I camp overnight?We recommend: Official campsites with electric hook-up Designated wild camping spots (check local rules) Areas with facilities like toilets and water access We can help you plan your trip or suggest great places to stay.

Can I charge devices in the van?Yes – there are USB and 3-pin sockets that work when Biscy is plugged into an electric hook-up at a campsite. A leisure battery also provides power while driving.
